English: Symphony Hall, located on Huntington Avenue at Massachusetts Aveune in Boston, Massachusetts, was built in 1900 and was designed by McKim, Mead, and White, modeled after the second Leipzig Gewandhaus, which was destroyed in World War II. The acoustics of the hall were designed by Wallace Clement Sabine. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a National Historic Landmark. Symphony Hall is home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
