Stamps of Switzerland, designed and/or engraved by Carl Friedrich Voigt (1800-1874),
Stamps of Spain, designed and/or engraved by Carl Friedrich Voigt (1800-1874)

(C.F.Voigt was also the engraver of the print plates for the so-called "Strubel"-issues of Switzerland (= the first issues of the "Sitting Helvetia" 1854/1862 with rosettes in the stamp corners, printed in Munich and Berne). The name "Strubel" comes from the hair of the Helvetia on these stamps remembering the hair of the "Struwelpeter" (a figure of a popular German-language children's book of the 19th Century).)
