This is the category for the architectural monument Muthesius Academy of Art.
It is on the list of cultural monuments of Kiel-Damperhof, no. 47620 (Südflügel), Nr. 47621 (Sachgesamtheit: ehem. Kgl. Höhere Schiffs- und Maschinenbauschule (Muthesiuskunsthochschule)).
Deutsch: 1906 wurde die Kieler Gewerbeschule mit kunstgewerblicher Ausrichtung mit dem Namen Städtische Handwerker- und Kunstgewerbeschule in der Wilhelminenstraße 32-34, Ecke Knooper Weg, gegründet. Sie erhielt 1910 den Namen Technische und kunstgewerbliche Fachschule und war Vorgänger der Muthesius-Werkschule für Handwerk und angewandte Kunst (1947, Brunswiker Straße). Das nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wiederaufgebaute Schulgebäude nutzte Staatliche Ingenieurschule, später das Gebäude Wilhelminenstraße 32 die Muthesius Kunsthochschule als Südflügel und die Landeskasse des Finanzministerium Schleswig-Holstein das Gebäude in der Wilhelminenstraße 34.
English: In 1906 the Kiel Gewerbeschule with a focus on arts and crafts was founded with the name Municipal Crafts and Arts School on Wilhelminenstrasse 32-34, at the corner Knooper Weg. In 1910 it was given the name Technical and Arts and Crafts School and was the predecessor of the Muthesius School for crafts and applied arts (1947, Brunswiker Strasse). The school building, which was rebuilt after World War II, was by the State Engineering School, later the building at Wilhelminenstrasse 32 by the Muthesius Academy of Art as the south wing and Wilhelmstrasse 34 by the state treasury of the Schleswig-Holstein Finance Ministry.
