English: Grand Central Hotel (a name from the Klondike Gold Rush era), also known as Squire Latimer Building / Squire Latimer Block / Grand Central on the Park (official name today), 216 First Avenue South, Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington, U.S. Among the earliest buildings commenced after the fire, it was owned jointly by territorial governor Watson C. Squire, who owned the portion south of the stairwell and banker Norval H. Latimer, who owned the rest. Comstock & Trotsche, a San Diego-based architectural firm who established a Seattle office to take advantage of the situation, designed this as well as the nearby Marshall Bldg (J&M Cafe) during their brief stay in the city. Completed in April 1890. The building lost most of it's roof line features in the 1949 earthquake.
