English: The Shawneetown Bank State Historic Site, also known as the Old State Bank building, is a 1841 building on the corner of Main Street and Washington Street in Old Shawneetown, Illinois. It was built as the Bank of Illinois (1841–1842), then the State Bank of Illinois starting in 1854, and various other banks until the 1930s. It closed when most of the population of Old Shawneetown moved up the bluff to "New" Shawneetown.
