English: Constructed in 1878 to replace the first Crystal Palace in Toronto, Toronto's second Crystal Palace hosted Toronto's first Industrial Exhibition (the predecessor to the Canadian National Exhibition) in 1879. By the time it was destroyed in 1906 by fire, it was officially known as the CNE Transportation Building. It was replaced by the Horticulture Building in 1907.
