St Mary of the Angels Church, an Anglican Rite I Catholic Church, 811 Monroe Ave, La Porte, Indiana. The Diocese of Mid-America of the Anglican Province of America opened St. Mary in June of 2001. The building is the oldest church building in the city of La Porte, Indiana and the second oldest church building in La Porte County.It was originally a Methodist Epsicopal Church, built in 1851. The Baptist Missionary Church occupied the building sometime between 1927 and 2001.
