English: The Rialto Building, site of the original Frederick & Nelson department store, 2nd Ave. between Madison St. and Spring St., Seattle, Washington, U.S. Built 1893 by Herman Chapin, designed by Skillings & Corner. Part of the building was briefly the home of the Seattle Public Library. During the time Frederick & Nelson was based there (eventually occupying the whole building) it was sometimes known as the Frederick & Nelson Block; the name reverted when F&N moved out in 1919. Demolished for the Federal Reserve Bank Building in the 1940s.
