István Telekesi by János Kondor (2006 bronze relief granite plaque) on the south facade of the Saint Ladislaus Parish Church (Great Church). István Telekesi (Telekessy) was born in 1633 in Csömöt (now part of Lukácsháza) in Vas County. He was ordained a priest in 1660. In 1666, Ferenc Nádasdy invited him to Sárvár, where he worked as a parish priest for seven years. Between 1699 and 1709, then between 1711 and 1715 he was bishop of Eger and also chief lord of Heves County. - Sárvár, Vas County, Hungary
