English: Reliance was a four-masted iron ship built in 1884 by W.H. Potter & Sons, Liverpool. Dimensions: length × beam × depth = 314 × 42.3 × 24.8 ft (95.7 × 12.8 × 7.5 m) and tonnage: 2631 GRT and 2458 NRT. Rigged with royal and sky sails over double top and topgallant sails. 1907 caught fire and was burnt out during loading of saltpetre at Iquique, but the ship was rebuilt. 1924, it was scrapped[1].
