The Ramavarmapuram Menhir, also known as Pulachikallu or Patakallu, is a pre-5th century BCE site near Thrissur. It consists of a large standing granite block. No inscriptions are noticeable, but the block shows chisel marks – evidence of being rock cut. It may have been a part of a larger monument site, or it was simply a burial site. It was named as a menhir in 1944, and is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India.
