English: Routemaster bus RM1699 (reg. 699 DYE) was delivered to London Transport in September 1963. It was used in London until withdrawal from service in September 1987. It saw further use with the Stagecoach operation Magic Bus based in Glasgow, Scotland. By August 1990, it had been bought for preservation, having passed via another owner in Chesterfield. In preservation, it first wore a maroon and cream livery, before being repainted at some point into early London Transport Routemaster livery.
