English: Queen Mary's Diamond bandeau tiara was made in 1932 for Queen Mary, and designed to accommodate the center diamond brooch. The then Princess Mary of Teck received the center brooch in 1893 from the County of Lincoln on the occasion of her marriage to the Duke of York, later George V. The brooch is made of ten diamonds. The bandeau is made of diamonds and platinum, and is a flexible band comprised of eleven sections. It also contains interlaced ovals and is pavé set with large and small brilliant diamonds. The center brooch is detachable. Queen Mary bequeathed the bandeau and brooch to her granddaughter Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Worn by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, on her wedding day in 2018.
