English: On 3 June 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited, in Kyiv, the Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology, where he "congratulated its employees on the 50th anniversary of the institution".
According to The Presidential Office of Ukraine, he also "(...) thanked the doctors for their daily work and saved lives of patients"
He also "spoke with Ukrainian servicemen who were wounded in battles with the Russian occupiers and are currently undergoing treatment at the institute.
