Description
English: Maillol first exhibited a plaster version of Pomona at the Salon d'Automne of 1910. The Russian collector Ivan Morosoff ordered the first bronze cast of the work (now in the Pushkin Museum). Maillol made a number of clothed and nude variants of this sculpture which are exhibited in various locations including:
  • Jardins du Carrousel (bronze casts of both a nude version with arms raised and a clothed version)
  • Musée Maillol, Paris (bronze, nude, arms raised)
  • Musée d'Orsay, Paris (bronze, clothed)
  • Petit Palais, Paris (marble, nude)
