Photographs by J.F.H. (Jan) Roovers (1912-2000), Dutch photographer. Profile at RKD. His copyright holder originally won a Dutch court case (VK article) over the copyright of his photographs. In the appeal case (Hoger Beroep) the Court of The Hague dismissed the original verdict, and ruled differently. (Verdict Appeal Case.) At the same time, the photographs by Roovers are not eligible for a Creative Commonns license suitable for Wikimedia Commons.
Do not upload his photographs to Wikimedia Commons before 1 Jan. 2071, unless you have proof op copyright clearance.
