English: Pavagadh is a mountain near Halol, the taluka headquarters of Panchmahal district in the state of Gujarat in the western part of India. In the foothills of this mountain lies the historic village of Champaner, which was once the capital of Gujarat. Due to the temple of Mahakali Mata on the top of this mountain, this place is considered to be one of the most important pilgrimage centres of Gujarat. According to one belief, Pavagadh is included in the Shaktipeeths of Mataji and it is said that part of Sati's breast is lying here.

ગુજરાતી: પાવાગઢ ભારત દેશના પશ્ચિમ ભાગમાં આવેલા ગુજરાત રાજ્યના પંચમહાલ જિલ્લામાં આવેલા તાલુકામથક હાલોલ નજીક આવેલો એક પર્વત છે. આ પર્વતની તળેટીમાં ગુજરાતની એક સમયની રાજધાની રહી ચુકેલું ઐતિહાસિક ચાંપાનેર ગામ વસેલું છે તેમજ આ પર્વતની ટોચ પર આવેલા મહાકાળી માતાના મંદિરને કારણે આ સ્થળ ગુજરાતનાં પવિત્ર યાત્રાધામ પૈકીનું એક મહત્વનું તીર્થસ્થળ ગણાય છે. એક માન્યતા મુજબ પાવાગઢનો સમાવેશ માતાજીની શક્તિપીઠોમાં થાય છે અને અહીં સતિનાં સ્તનનો ભાગ પડ્યો હોવાનું કહેવામાં આવે છે.
