English: This category includes images of paintings by Claude Monet titled "poppy field" (French Champ de coquelicots). – It is commonly assumed that the painted red poppies represent the Corn Poppy (Papaver rhoeas), which is common in Europe, but some similar species exist. Please also notice, that the paintings do not show Papaver fields (in the sense of agricultural poppy production); they actually show grain fields, other crop fields or meadows with poppies growing as weeds/wildflowers, so the term "poppy field" is used colloquially here.
