The Panch Badris are five historic Vishnu tradition temples in Uttarakhand. They are a part of Vaishnava sacred geography in the Himalayas. The five Panch Badri sites include the Badrinath temple (also called the Vishal Badri), the Dhyan Badri (Urgam valley), the Bhavisya Badri (Tapovan Hot springs), the Adi Badri and the Yog Badri (Pandukeshwar). The earliest mention of the Panch Badri is found in Sanskrit texts dated to the 2nd century CE.
