English: One Wight is a political campaign currently being held on the Isle of Wight against plans to divide the island into separate parliamentary constituencies. The Isle of Wight currently elects one MP to the House of Commons. While the campaign is not against having a second MP for the island, it is against any part of the island sharing an MP with a part of the mainland. MP Andrew Turner is leading the campaign with an official parliamentary petition signed by 17,529 people. Throughout the campaign, Southern Vectis 614 Scratchells Bay (N14 WAL), a DAF DB250/Northern Counties Palatine 2 had been used attending various island events such as the Chale Show and the Garlic Festival, with many people signing their name on the back of the bus to show support in addition to signing the main petition. On 6 September 2010 the bus travelled to Downing Street to deliver the petition.
