The New Courts Building, also known as the Louisiana Supreme Court Building; in the 1970s-1980s as the Fisheries & Wildlife Building (after it's most prominent tenant at the time) is a government building in New Orleans, occupying the square bounded by Royal, St. Louis, Chartres, and Conti Streets in the French Quarter, with the main entrance on Royal Street. (Prior to it's construction, the block was bisected by Exchange Street; 2 blocks of older buildings were demolished to clear the square at the start of the 1900s.) It has housed the Supreme Court of Louisiana c. 1910-1960 and c. 2000 - present.
