The Narbadeshwar temple, also spelled Narmadesvar mandir or Narvadeshwar temple, is an early 19th century Shiva temple built in Tira Sujanpur by Queen Prasanni Devi, the wife of Sansar Chand. It is notable for its architecture with flat roof that otherwise blends elements of Bengali Hindu temples and Rajput–Mughal style – a construction technique familiar to artisans available around the time when Mughal empire was collapsing.

The Narbadeshwar temple is also notable for its paintings and decorative artwork that depict the legends of Radha and Krishna, the Ramayana, and of Parvati and Shiva. It is one of the best examples of elegant use of colors, gold foil and tempera technique that developed in the Himalayan foothills.
