According to the dedication page (f. 120r), the manuscript was presented by Adalram, Archbishop of Salzburg in 821–836, to Louis the German, King of Bavaria in 817–865.
Contains:

  • Sententiarum series tertia, Nr. 16 (Third Series of Maxims, Number 16) by Bernard of Clairvaux (f. 1r)
  • fragment of De exterioris et interioris hominis compositione (The External and Internal Composition of Man) by David of Augsburg (ff. 1r–60v)
  • Sermo contra Judaeos, Paganos et Arianos (Sermon against Jews, Pagans and Aryans) by Quodvultdeus (ff. 61r–119v)

Old High German poem Muspilli inserted around and into the sermon on folios 61r, 119v-121v sometime later in the 9th century.
The sermon is written in fine Carolingian minuscule, with dedication in rustic capitals; the poem is in miniscule, too, but of a much lower quality.
