Afrikaans: Montagu is 'n dorp in die Klein Karoo in die Wes-Kaap. Die dorp lê op die R62-roete en het ongeveer 9 500 inwoners. Die dorp is die 'hoofstad van die Langebergvallei'. Die vallei is tussen die Langeberg (suid) en Waboomsberge (noord).
English: Montagu is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, about 180 km from Cape Town in western Kannaland. It is named after former secretary of the Cape Colony, John Montagu, but was once known as Agter Cogman’s Kloof, Cogman’s Kloof linking the town and railway station. It is situated at the confluence of the Keisie and Kingna rivers.
