English: The marble jars (note there are two of them) were brought from Pergamon during the reign of Murad III, (1574 – 1595). Originally from the Hellenistic period, they were lustration urns carved from a single block of marble. One of them is located on the ground floor close to the Imperial Gate, the other at the opposite side of the axis of the narthex.
