English: Loch Rannoch was a three-masted iron-hulled ship, built by J. & G. Thomson in Glasgow for Kidston, Ferrier-Kerr and Black, Glasgow with the original name Clanranald. The ship had 2 decks and 1 cemented bulkhead. Tonnage: 1,243 GRT, 1,185 NRT and 1,116 under deck. Dimensions: 217.8 × 35.5 × 21 ft (66.3 × 10.8 × 6.4 m); Poop 39 ft (11.8 m); Forecastle 37 ft (11.2 m). 1875 the vessel sold to Glasgow Shipping Co (Loch Line) and renamed Loch Rannoch.[1][2] The Loch Rannoch was sometimes rigged as a barque and sometimes as a full-rigged ship. 1907 sold to Akties Loch Rannoch (M. Nielsen), Laurvig, Norway, 1909 scrapped at Harburg.[3]
