English: Loch Nevis was a four-masted steel barque built in 1894 by J. Reid & Co., Glasgow for Aitken, Lilburn & Co., Glasgow. Her dimensions were: length × beam × depth: 301.6 × 43.2 × 26.4 ft (91.9 × 13.1 × 8 m) and she had a tonnage of 2431 GRT and 2431 NRT and was rigged in jubilee fashion i.e. nothing over double top and topgallant sails. 1900 the Loch Nevis was sold to „Rhederei Akt. Gesellschaft von 1896“, Hamburg, and renamed Octavia. 1905 destroyed by fire when the cargo coal ignited off the Patagonian coast. The burnt out hull lay in Bahia Blanca. 1916 the hull was rebuilt as the steamship Primero. 1922 once more destroyed by fire, this time at Puerto Deseado.[1][2]
