Deutsch: Die „Kriegsschule“ auf dem Brauhausberg in Potsdam wurde 1899–1902 erbaut. Von 1919 bis 1945 war das Gebäude Sitz des Reichsarchivs bzw. des Heeresarchivs. Von 1948 bis 1990 war hier die SED-Bezirks- und Kreisleitung Potsdam untergebracht, von 1991 bis 2013 der Brandenburgische Landtag.
English: The building for the “Kriegsschule Potsdam” (Military School Potsdam) on the hill Brauhausberg in Potsdam was built from 1899 to 1902. From 1919 to 1945 it was used as “Reichsarchiv” (Imperial archive) and as military archive. From 1948 to 1990 it housed the regional party leadership team (“SED Bezirksleitung”) and the sectional leadership team (“SED-Kreisleitung”) Potsdam of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (German “Sozialistische Einheitspartei Deutschlands, SED”), from 1991 until 2013 it was used by the Landtag of Brandenburg.
