English: Jacob Boelen (b. c.1654), an American silversmith of Dutch descent active in New York. He belonged to a family of silversmiths — his brother Henry Boelen (1661-1692) was also a silversmith; Jacob Boelen's son Henricus Boelen (1697-1755) was a silversmith; and Henry's son Jacob (b. 1733) became a silversmith.
