English: Invercauld was a steel barque built by A McMillan & Son Dumbarton (yard No 300), for George Milne & Co, Aberdeen. 1916 sold to Marine Navigation Company of Canada. On her first voyage for her new owners, before she could be renamed, she was torpedoed and sunk by a German submarine off the Irish coast.
Her dimensions were = length × beam × depth: 237.5 × 36.2 × 21.7 ft (72.3 × 11 × 6.6 m) and she had a tonnage of 1416 GRT.[1]
