Category:Images requiring rotation

These images were uploaded with either the wrong side facing up or just a noticeable tilt of the camera. They require rotation. You can add images to this category using the template {{Rotate}}. Most easily with RotateLink.

When rotating JPEGs by 90, 180, or 270 degrees, you can simply add a parameter with a positive (clockwise) angle expressed in degrees to the template, e.g. {{Rotate|90}} for 90°. Rotatebot rotates these pictures.

Too big images (get rejected by rotatebot): Correct wrong EXIF Orientation tags with e.g exiftool. Or if they need physical rotation use lossless tool features for this - do not use lossy standard rotation. See also Commons:Rotation.

For others (non x*90°) GIMP is a good help.

CropTool can manually rotate to any angle and when saving as a new image, instead of overwriting, will provide a link between the original and new image. (Must be activated in your user preferences.)
