English: The 0-6-0T steam locomotive was built by the Hunslet Engine Company in 1898 to their 'Chest' class design. It was built for the Manchester Ship Canal and given the name St John after a port in Canada; it was later given the number 14. Replaced by a diesel, it was sold to Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in 1963 where it was renamed The Lady Armaghdale after the wife of a former company chairman. It operated at the company's Blackley works near Manchester until rail traffic ceased there in 1968. It was sold to the Warwickshire Industrial Locomotive Trust and is now based on the Severn Valley Railway. The locomotive was painted in blue livery in 1994 and used as 'Thomas the Tank Engine' until 2009 (apart from October and November 1998 when it reverted to MSC Rly. black livery and visited Bury (East Lancs. Rly.), Leeds (Middleton Rly.), and Kidderminster (SVR) to celebrate its Centenary). It currently painted in red livery as The Lady Armaghdale' and resides in The Engine House at Highley, SVR.
