Hovenden House, Barn and Abolition Hall is a group of historic buildings in Plymouth Meeting, Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The property was a station on the Underground Railroad. Jane Johnson, whose 1855 escape challenged the Fugitive Slave Act, was hidden here. Abolition Hall was built to be a meeting place for abolitionists. Frederick Douglass, Harriet Beecher Stowe, William Lloyd Garrison and Lucretia Mott were among those who lectured there. It was later the studio of painter Thomas Hovenden.
