Deutsch: Die bis 1878 bestehende Holzbrücke Rapperswil-Hurden wurde im Auftrag von Rudolf IV. (Rudolf der Geistreiche) von Habsburg-Österreich in den Jahren 1358 bis 1360 erbaut. Am 6. April 2001 erfolgte die feierliche Wiedereröffnung der 841 Meter langen Rekonstruktion der frühesten Brückenverbindung zwischen Rapperswil (SG) und Hurden (SZ) auf dem Gebiet des oberen Zürichsees.
