English: Hazel eyes often appear to shift in color from a golden-yellow to a green. Although hazel mostly consists of yellow/brown and green, the dominant color in the eye can either be yellow/brown/golden or green. In hazel eyes the colors gradually blend together. Hazel eyes are different from central heterochromia, which has two clearly distinctive rings of different colors. The central heterochromic rings are constant, while coloration distribution in hazel eyes can change depending on light conditions.
