English: The Ratschow House (Haus Ratschow) on Kröpeliner Straße #82, after destruction on 3 May 1945 (Soviet occupation started on 1 May) only the façade dates to the late 15th century, the building behind is a construction of the 1950s commissioned by Hans Ratschow. Since 1961 the building houses the Central Library unit (Zentralbibliothek) and reading hall of the Rostock public library (Stadtbibliothek).
