English: Habad Street (Habad Road) is a major north-south street that divides the old city in two parts. Named for the Hasidic dynasty founded by Shneur Zalman of Lyady, it's an acronym for the hebrew "Hochma, Binah, Da'at" (wisdom, understanding, knowledge). The Habad House is located on this street.
