English: George W. Griffith was producing his own photographic images starting from 1889. In 1896, he and his brother created a photography company Griffith & Griffith in Philadelphia. The company was based on the Underwood & Underwood model where George had previously worked. In addition to American and European landmarks series, including several sets of Yellowstone views, the company was known for its humorous series, such as the Marital Bliss.
