English: The Gneisenau Monument at the English Cemetery in Málaga is a burial monument and the tomb of 42 crew who lost their lives when the Imperial German Navy ship Gneisenau went down in the bay of Malaga on December 16th 1900. The monument recreates with granite blocks rustically grouped the breakwater where the ship was shipwrecked. It has a bronze tombstone in its upper part with the names of the deceased sailors, and another marble one in its lower part.
Español: El monumento Gneisenau en el Cementerio Inglés de Málaga es un monumento funerario y la tumba de 42 tripulantes que perdieron la vida cuando el barco de la Armada Imperial alemana Gneiseneau se hundió en la bahía de Málaga el 16 de diciembre de 1900. El monumento recrea con bloques de granito agrupados rústicamente la escollera en la que naufragó el navío. Cuenta con una lápida de bronce en su parte superior con los nombres de los marineros fallecidos, y otra de mármol en su parte inferior.
