English: General Engineering Company, often referred to as GECO (gee-co), was a munitions manufacturer during World War II. It was based in Scarborough (now part of Toronto), and situated on a 364-acre complex consisting of 172 buildings connected by tunnels. The site spanned from Warden Avenue to Birchmount Road, and from Eglinton Avenue to Hymus Road.
