English: The tombstone of Friedrich IX of Pettau in the inner court of Ptuj Castle. Made from the red Salzburg marble around 1440 (some sources state 1438, the year of the death of Friedrich IX). Before the entrance into the castle. There are two prophets with banners in the upper corners. On the right side below, the coat of arms of the Vovberk family with the dragon has been depicted. On the right side below, there is the Borl family coat of arms with an upside down turned anchor. A relief of a dog forms the pedestal. It has been ascribed to Hans Paldauf, the Master from the Seeon Monastery.[1]
Slovenščina: Nagrobnik Friderika IX. Ptujskega na notranjem dvorišču Ptujskega gradu. Izdelano iz rdečega salzburškega marmorja ok. 1440 (po nekaterih virih 1438, tj. v letu smrti Friderika IX.). V zgornjih vogalih sta upodobljena preroka s trakovoma. Na levi strani spodaj je upodobljen vovbreški grb z zmajem, na desni strani spodaj pa borlski grb z narobe obrnjenim sidrom. Podstavek oblikuje relief psa. Pred vhodom v grad. Pripisujejo ga Hansu Paldaufu, t.i. mojstru iz Seeona.[2]
