Fountain with conical column, map Bg 59 (near the outer cemetery fence south of Commonwealth War Graves) at Hamburg cemetery Friedhof Ohlsdorf. Inscription: „Unseren lieben Toten gewidmet” (dedicated to our beloved dead), the flame decorations referring to the originally adjacent urn grave area of a cremation insurance company (abolished in the Nazi period).
The monument is one of once about 50 different fountains built between 1927 and 1933 according to the concept of German architect Paul Frank. Details: Förderkreis Ohlsdorfer Friedhof as well as fredriks.de.
