Fiacre is an automobile body style derived from horse-drawn carriages in the early days of motoring. It never enjoyed much popularity, and was often seen as old-fashioned even back then. So, it was rarely seen in the automobile maker's standard catalogs, but was frequently offered by some coachbuilders as custom ("bespoke") or semi-custom coachwork. As most fiacres have enclosed coachwork for 3-4 passengers, they can be seen as a variant of the coupé, often as "Faux Cabriolets" using top covers imitating a closed convertible top. The style vanished in the early 1930.
