English: : ~Boy with a goat by Árpád Somogyi (1969 bronze) Shows: A young boy herding a goat (from the pasture to home?). In the 1950es and 1960es, the industry also started to develop rapidly in Zalaegerszeg. 35-40 new plants were established, for which the labor force was provided by the population of the surrounding villages. Young people soon integrated into urban life, The older ones had a harder time breaking away from the land and animals. Presumably, the artist created the sculpture just for their consolation. Located in a park between Landorhegyi Road and Űrhajós Street, Zalaegerszeg, Zala County, Hungary.
