Faraway, was a smallpox hospital ship (actually a hulk) on Sydney Harbour. In use from January 1877, it was upgraded in 1884, and decommissioned in 1894. From 1884, it was officially known as the Floating Quarantine Hospital. It was anchored in Sirius Cove, until around 1881, and then off the North Head Quarantine Station.
