Deutsch: Die Ez-Chaim-Synagoge in Leipzig, Apels Garten 4 (ursprünglich Otto-Schill-Straße 6–8), wurde von dem Leipziger Rauchwaren-Händler und Stifter Chaim Eitingon (1857-1932) gestiftet. Sie entstand durch den Umbau einer ehemaligen Turnhalle nach einem Entwurf des Leipziger Architekten G. Pflaume († 1930) und wurde am 10. September 1922 eingeweiht. Die Synagoge wurde am 9./10. November 1938 zerstört
English: The Etz Chayim Synagogue in Leipzig, Apels Garten 4 (originally Otto-Schill-Strasse 6—8), erected by rebuilding a sports hall financed by a donation of Chaim Eitingon. The synagogue was destroyed in the Reich Pogrom on 9/10 November 1938
