English: Europa was a German wooden barque built 1847 by Heinrich Otto Becker, Pillau for C.F. Kunde, Rügenwalde. In 1873 the vessel belongs to Reederei D.W.A. Zielke, Danzig. In 1877 the barque stranded near south of Seaham from Sunderland on the British east coast on the voyage to few miles south of West Hartlepool and was lost. All the sailors were rescued.
