English: Ella Moore was an wooden barque, built 1867 in Halls Harbour, Nova Scotia , Canada. She was one of the largest vessels built in the small port of Halls Habour. Owned by D. B. & C. F. Eaton of Cornwallis. Dimensions: 136 × 30.1 × 14.6 ft (41.4 × 9.1 × 4.4 m). Tonnage: 391 Tons. Ella Moore enjoyed a long career on the North Atlantic surviving some severe storm damage and made some fast passages including a voyage from Eatonville to Belfast and back with lumber made in two months in 1881. She was stranded on the rocks near Canso 1 July 1892. Despite a precarious postion, she was repaired and continued her career until 1907 when she was broken up.[1]
