- Italiano: Marconi acquistò la "Elettra" nel 1920. Questo yacht a vapore venne progettato dagli ingegneri Cox and King a Londra e costruito nei cantieri Ramage and Ferguson Ltd. a Leith, in Scozia, venne completato (col nome "Rovenska") nel mese di maggio 1904. Originariamente apparteneva all'arciduchessa Maria Teresa d'Austria, fu utilizzato dall'Ammiragliato britannico per scopi navali durante la I Guerra Mondiale. Per quasi 18 anni fu adoperata da Guglielmo Marconi a scopi scientifici ed ebbe praticamente un ruolo importante in tutti suoi esperimenti e scoperte durante questo periodo.
- English: Marconi bought the "Elettra" in 1920. This steam-yacht had been designed by Messrs. Cox and King at London and built by Messrs. Ramage and Ferguson at Leith, Scotland, being completed in May 1904. She was originally the property of the Archduchess Maria Theresa of Austria being then called "Rovenska" and was used by the British Admiralty for naval purposes during the war. For about eighteen years she was used by Marconi for experimental purposes and played an important part in practically all his investigations and discoveries during this time.
- Deutsch: Die Schiffsdaten: Das Schiff wurde 1904 von Ramage & Ferguson Ldt - Leith (Schottland) - als "Rovenska" für die Erzherzogin Maria Theresa von Österreich gebaut und fuhr unter der Flagge Österreichs. Die "Rovenska" ist 60,35 Meter (198' ) lang und 8,40 Meter (27¾' ) breit. Der Tiefgang beträgt max. 5,18 Meter (17' ). Eine dreifach-Expansions-Dampfmaschine mit drei Zylindern leistet 1000 PSi. 1920 erwirbt Marconi das Schiff, tauft es in "Elettra" um und lässt es unter der Nummer 956 in Italien registrieren. Neuer Heimathafen wird Genua. Im Rahmen der weltweiten Reform der Rufzeichen erhielt die "Elettra" zum 1. Januar 1934 das Rufzeichen IBDK
