English: Electroforming is a metal forming process where metal (nickel, copper, silver, or gold) is deposited onto a mold, called a mandrel, inside an electrolytic bath; the metal can be grown of any thickness; the mandrel can be removed after the completion of the process; after electroforming it is possible to perform electroplating to add a protective or cosmetic coating.
